At 9:30 a.m., following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R. 1314. All time during adjournment will count post cloture. Upon the use or yielding back of the post-cloture time, the Senate will vote in relation to any remaining pending amendments and on the Hatch substitute. If all time is used, the post-cloture debate on the Hatch substitute would expire at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Upon disposition of the Hatch substitute, there would be a cloture vote on the underlying bill. If cloture is invoked on the underlying bill, there would be an additional 30 hours of post-cloture debate time, but no further amendments would be in order prior to a vote on passage of H.R. 1314, as amended, if amended.
