Ayotte Honors the Memory of Those Lost at Pearl Harbor
Today Marks 70th Anniversary of Attacks
WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) issued the following statement today recognizing the 70th anniversary of the attacks at Pearl Harbor:
"Today we honor the memory of those heroic service members who were lost on December 7, 1941 - a 'date which will live in infamy.' The attacks at Pearl Harbor catapulted our country into World War II, when brave American troops put their lives on the line to defend the ideals for which this nation stands. As we take time to remember those who gave their lives on that terrible day, let us also recognize the members of the 'Greatest Generation,' whose sacrifices stand as a lasting testament to American bravery."
